A memorial stone to Edward Lear, writer, artist and ornithologist, was unveiled in Poets' Corner Westminster Abbey on 6th June 1988 by Sir Hugh Casson.

Dr Richard Lucas is buried in the south transept. In 1677 he published the first of many works, Practical Christianity, and was a noted preacher.

On the north wall of St Margaret's Westminster is a tablet to William Bent and family. Much of the inscription is now illegible.

In the north cloister is the grave of politician Kenneth, Baron Muir Mackenzie. He was born on 29th June 1845 at Delvine in Perthshire.
